About Me
A.J. Jelonek (He/Him/His) is the Executive Office Assistant at the Wolf Trap Foundation. He received his B.A. in Theater from Christopher Newport University. A.J. always surrounds himself in the performing arts, from being an audience member, to working on and off stage. His past jobs have embraced the many ways the performing arts can connect with audiences. He has worked as the venue coordinator for the Kennedy Center's Millennium Stage, a freelance events and stage manager, a costumed interpreter at Colonial Williamsburg, a supernumerary in various productions, mascots at two institutions, and as an usher area manager at the Ferguson Center for the Arts.
When not at the theater, A.J. is researching, writing, and photographing the world around him. His main passions involve history, architecture, and historic preservation. In his spare time, A.J. enjoys travelling the world, intentionally taking wrong turns, and getting lost in a good book.
